Job Description:
Webpaint Technologies is looking for a skilled and dedicated PHP WordPress Developer to join our team in Mohali. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, and a strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain WordPress websites and web applications
Customize themes and plugins based on client requirements
Create custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
Integrate third-party APIs and services
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs
Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across all devices
Collaborate with designers and developers to deliver high-quality results
Stay up to date with the latest development trends and best practices
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL
Experience with WordPress CMS
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
Experience with custom theme and plugin development
Familiarity with WordPress coding standards
Basic understanding of SEO and performance optimization
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
Familiarity with version control tools like Git
Understanding of RESTful APIs
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)
