Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Estimation & Costing Engineer – Civil to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating tender documents, and supporting project planning and budget control.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects based on drawings, specifications, and project scope.
Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs to create project budgets.
Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, and BOQs to ensure accurate estimations.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary project details.
Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and pricing strategies.
Track project cost changes and update estimates accordingly.
Support in post-tender negotiations and client interactions when needed.
Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and industry regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
7–8 years of experience in estimation and costing within the civil construction or infrastructure industry.
Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, materials, and construction practices.
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software/tools.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
